The Pass 40 Let Kyrgyzstan is part of the M41 Pamir Highways and the Silk Road. If you drive from Osh to Tajikistan, you first reach the Taldyk Pass at 3,615 m and then the pass 40 Let Kyrgyzstan. Both passes are located in the Alay Mountains and are the only connecting road to Sarytash (Sary Tash) or to China and Tajikistan in this region.
