Off-road Quad Tour - Chong-Kemin National Park and the Konortchok Canyons
An off-road trip away from paved roads and to breathtaking regions
The Adventure Tour in the Chong-Kemin National Park and further into the Konortchok canyons is about 680 km long. The highest point of the Tour is the Kök-Ank Ashuu pass with 3,931 m above sea level. The area around the lake Issyk-Kul is one of the most breathtaking landscapes which they certainly are not forgotten.
In the small town of Cholpon-Ata on the northern shores of Issyk-Kul, you get a glimpse of the life and traditions of Kyrgyzstan. The city contains many dating from the Soviet era hotels, sanatoria and guest houses to accommodate the many summer guests. The view across the lake to the south to the mighty peaks of the Tian Shan mountain range, is an impressive and unforgettable sight that you will not forget. Add to that the two open-air museum come with their impressive and historical exhibits.
For individuals are also various recreational activities available: climbing, hiking, archery, swimming or horse riding unless if we are have horses.
The Konortchok Canyons with its sandstone formations is unique in its kind in the Tian Shan mountain range and can always keep up in terms of beauty, diversity and size perfectly with the Valley of Fire in Las Vegas.

Wolfgang Tschertou
Since 2006, I am average between 8 and 10 months per year in Kyrgyzstan. Originally I wanted to spend there only a vacation with the quad, but I fell in love with the scenery, culture and tradition there. Initially I beat myself by with English, hands and feet only (body language). Today I speak ever - in my opinion - passable Russian. My hobbies besides the quad and motorcycle riding include hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing and archery and photographing. I never thought that this landscape so fascinated me, that I am every year on the new happy to go there and to share my favorite landscapes with you.
